WILSON TIMBA

Wilson Timba. His journey in music began at the age of 13 when he discovered his passion for the art of being a DJ. Influenced by renowned artists such as Black Coffee, Adriatique, Citizen Deep, and Shimza, he immersed himself in the world of music.

Born on June 7, 2002, he is the son of Laura Xadreque and Luís Alberto Timba. In 2020, he began his artistic identity as Wilson Timba, moving away from the former name DJ Wilson. He started exploring a more distinctive profile, becoming an open-format DJ and being versatile in musical styles, falling in love with unique genres like Afro House, Deep House, and Electronic music.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, he faced challenges but also explored opportunities. He conducted live streams to keep the musical energy alive during a challenging time. In the same year, he participated in a special event on Ivan Platinado's boat, providing a unique tourist experience.

In 2021, he released his first single, 'Paradise,' in collaboration with South African vocalist Tsimo. This song marked the official beginning in the music scene. He followed this with the release of the EP 'Paradise Vol. 1' (2022), consolidating his sonic identity and evolution as an artist.

Starting in 2023, he began incorporating percussion elements into his performances, aiming to create emphasis and innovation in live shows. He participated in renowned events like the International H20 Festival, making a mark in the music scene.
