Dallas born, London based multi-disciplinary artist Zach Witness is ready to be known for his striking and artistic solo work, unveiling his Defected debut ‘Can’t Get It Outta My Head’. Discovering music through dancing, often describing himself as “a dancer making music”, Zach made a name for himself in Dallas’ thriving hip hop culture, particularly on the Dallas Boogie scene. Cutting his teeth as a DJ, playing at clubs and putting together mixtapes, Zach is now at a point of reinvention, with ‘Can’t Get It Outta My Head’ showcasing his abilities not only as an adept producer, but striking vocalist. With his early work reaching Erykah Badu, who enlisted Witness’ help for her Motown mixtape ‘Caint Use My Phone’ in 2015, the young visionary went on to work with artists like André 3000, Frank Ocean and Nile Rodgers. ‘Can’t Get It Outta Head’ showcases Zach Witness as a creative; as his playful vocals and sample-led production style combine with his natural affinity for dance music for a jack swing-meets-electronic landscape of pure energy.
