In the first instalment of House For The Soul, Feedasoul Records welcomes French powerhouse onto the A side. UN*DEUX comes in hot and heavy with 'Hurry'. This track can only be described as a dancefloor-smashing groover. Acid- riddled basslines, a classic four to the floor rhythm and uplifting vocals result in an absolute cracker. Next, is none other than Joss Moog. ''Peanuts' delivers a straight-beat masterpiece. A driving low end cutting through flaring hi-hats, sexy vocal chops and movement-inducing chords provide a beautifully-balanced and driving track. Concluding the A side in style, Workerz comes in with groove-inducing heavy percussion that perfectly overlays his drums, vocal chops and a brass section for that extra touch of soul; beautiful through and through.
On the flipside, Koba Maru brings in the heat. Vibrant chords, tasteful percussion, soulful vocals and a rolling bassline support a 4/4 rhythm. Finally, Harvey touch returns to Feedasoul with 'Despacio'. What better way to end this VA than with an all-out groover.
