The British duo previously produced together as Fire Island and more notably under Heller & Farley since the early 90s. Lead track ‘Movin’ On’ (Correct House Mix) pumps up the energy with era-centric pads, soaring synths and a deep house refrain behind the heavily sampled vocals ‘your love picks me up boy, your love has got me movin’ on’. The Junior Beats & Pieces mix follows, holding a more direct classic house sound with assertive synths. Roach Motel go deeper in ‘The Right Time’ (Fire Island Mix), boasting indulgent pads beneath a classic piano riff, alongside the more peak-time The London Disco Dub version with a lower bassline. A timelessly grooving release still fitting for dancefloors everywhere today.
